Mrs. Anjana, had a severe deformity of her toes, as well as the great toe, she had inability to even stand for more than 2 minutes, and could not walk more than 5 meters. Because of her age, taking care of herself became impossible. Her son visited us with her, and we did a consultation where I explained to her that these deformities are the reason for her not able to stand or walk. We did a surgery where we corrected the first toe and the 2 toes and the deformity correction was done. She was able to stand and Walk without any support after three months and after that , she had a painless normal life. The before and after picture shows the deformity , the extent of the deformity and the correction that we could achieve .This deformity is known as halluxx valgus and hammer toes.
